Leadership Team
Morton Bell
Managing Director
After graduating with a business degree and finishing law school, Morton began his career working across business development and analysis, and in management and sales roles for a retail IT company.
Moving on to deliver document management to professional services, including Legal 500 law firms and accountancy practices, Morton spotted a gap in the market for bespoke, professional backup services, and his company Backup4Business was born.
Morton now brings his years of firsthand experience working for and with businesses to our clients at TecSec Services Ltd, offering a real understanding of their needs along with the solutions to best meet their requirements.
Morton is a qualified certified auditor for Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance Levels 1 and 2. He was one of the first 100 Cyber Advisors as part of the National Cyber Security Centre.
Phill McManus
Technical Director
Interested in technology and computers from a very early age, Phill began his career writing software and working as an IT engineer country wide, delivering services to high profile accounts including Cadbury’s, Kellogg’s, and British Steel. He went on to work as Technical Manager for a systems integrator, running a team designing and implementing secure multimedia networks for businesses, councils, schools, police and the ministry of defence across the UK.
It was his time managing the technology for organisations and landlords around the Sheffield area that led to the forming of his company, Layer3 Data Services Ltd.
His career has been rooted in IT and technology from the beginning, with a heavy focus on understanding and supporting his clients.
Focused on using technology to understand and treat the risks to information security all organisations face; Certified as a Penetration Tester (CSTM) and to audit Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, he is now bringing his many years of experience and diverse expertise to our clients here at TecSec Services Ltd. Phill is also among the first 100 Cyber Advisors for the National Cyber Security Centre.
Managed Support & Services Team
Our managed IT support and services team are knowledgeable, supportive and approachable and always go the extra mile to support our clients.
The whole team are passionate about SECURE IT; and putting in place everything they can to help a client to work safely and effectively. All our engineers progress to become Cyber Essentials assessors as a minimum standard and they work to this standard from day one.
We don’t just react to client problems, we set out with a goal of preventing them and we continuously monitor the devices, our staff and systems to ensure that we deliver the best and most secure service.
Account Management, Marketing & Admin
Our marketing, administrative and account management teams are here to support and help our clients and TecSec with the smooth running of the day-to-day business; with the goal to build and nurture strong relationships with our clients.
