As the amount of people remote working, attending virtual events and interacting with friends over video chat is still increasing, we thought it would be a good idea to produce a step-by-step guide on how to arrange a Teams Meeting.

As a Microsoft Partner, we are working with numerous clients managing their Email and Microsoft apps, including Teams.

1. Click the “New items” arrow and choose the option “Teams Meeting”.

This will load up a normal outlook Calendar meeting but will have autocompleted the location to say “Microsoft Teams Meeting” and will include a link to the teams meeting in the body of the outlook meeting description.

2. Then all that’s left to do is:

  • Invite recipients to the meeting.
  • State the time and date of the meeting.
  • Set meeting reminders and press send.

3. On the day of the meeting, you can find the teams meeting in your outlook and press Join Teams Meeting” along the main menu.

or in the Teams calendar you can simply press “Meet now” or “Join”.
