The sextortion scam

All you need to know about the Sextortion Scam

Towards the end of last year, we wrote a blog about ‘Sextortion’. This is a cyber scam that preys on our emotional vulnerabilities and fears, and can result in being, essentially, blackmailed for hundreds, if not thousands of pounds. This blog really seemed to touch a nerve and we’ve had many enquiries and comments about it, so we thought we’d give you more information about the Sextortion Scam.

We’ve written a guide to tell you about exactly how the scam works, what a typical sextortion email looks like and critically, how you can protect yourself. Plus, we’ve also included information about a range of other Phishing scams, to help you spot them before you fall victim.

Just fill in some details below and we’ll send you our free guide on the Sextortion Scam. If you have been a victim of this scam, you can speak to us in confidence about how to protect your business from future attacks. Just get in touch on 0114 223 8000 or email us at
