NEBRC (North East Business Resilience Centre)

The NEBRC’s history and what they do:


The NEBRC was established late in 2019 and is a non-profit organisation with direct links to seven Police Forces including Northumbria, Cleveland, Durham, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Humberside and local universities.

The purpose of NEBRC is to support and protect businesses from cybercrimes in the North East of England with access to the latest information concerning new threats and criminal trends that will help them to safeguard their customers, staff and business.

Working in partnership with their expert team including seconded police officers, students from Sheffield Hallam and Northumbria Universities and professional companies like TecSec as Trusted Partners, NEBRC offers a wide range of business resiliency services.

The services we can provide to NEBRC members are:

IT Support with an annual Cyber Essentials certification included in the contract (*Ts&Cs apply).

Cyber Security solutions (including anti-malware, UTM, Network security, cyber awareness training and more).

Vulnerability scans or Penetration tests.

IASME, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS
