The East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre (EMCRC)

As a Trusted Partner to the EMCRC, we are official providers of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS Certification to the  East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre and it’s members.

Why was the EMCRC formed & what is it’s purpose?

Trusted Partner EMCRC logoThe threat from Cyber Crime is ever evolving and is not going away. Police forces and other law enforcement agencies have made big changes in recent years to deal with this threat and help people and business to stay safer from Cyber Crime with each Police force now having dedicated Cyber Crime units, but the size of the task is colossal.

One of the reasons for that is the nature of the crime itself; traditional crimes like robberies and burglaries have geographical limits and usually offenders are from within the same areas.

Cyber Crime has no such limits. As such, the EMCRC’s response needs to be different, with more work on the proactive side to help businesses and organisations protect themselves. The collaboration between Law Enforcement, academia and private industry will be an important tool in achieving this, bringing in valuable support from other sectors.

The services we can provide to EMCRC members are:

IT Support with an annual Cyber Essentials certification included in the contract (*Ts&Cs apply).

Cyber Security solutions (including anti-malware, UTM, Network security, cyber awareness training and more).

Vulnerability scans or Penetration tests.

IASME, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS
